"Mao's policies and political purges from 1949 to 1975 are widely believed to have caused the deaths of between 50 to 70 million people." Thats much more than hitler and stalin combined. Crazy we hang it on our walls isn't it? Next to a storm trooper or some designer clock. We put things in a frame, in a different context. Emphasizing the aesthetic but not once acknowledging the facts. Kind of sleeping almost..
