This blog plugged the Kinoo t-shirts the other day. They talk about the word ‘nice’ being a synonym for New Zealand, the country of niceness. Its pretty funny and worth reading.

Know a NZ brand you think should be on endemicworld.com? Tell us.
Its time for a BBQ…
No better way to kick start the summer by having a gold old barbie in your backyard. Join sideroom and friends for their 4th birthday at The Kings Arms in Auckland this Sunday… see you there. Its worth it just to witness a set by Tommy Flowers (we still miss his breakfast show)
And if you haven’t already checked them out the new sideroom organic tees just arrived yesterday.
Design Assembly pics
Thanks to Louise, everyone who attended, Shaun for taking the pics, the speakers and the sponsors for another cool night at Design Assembly. See all the pics here. Don’t be a stranger over summer, keep the conversations going by visiting Design Assembly and commenting on the blog posts. See you at the March event.
Component Exhibition
Grab a fresh piece of art for your wall this Thursday (tomorrow) at Conch Records on Ponsonby road, Auckland (Doors open at 6pm). Componentry 3 is an exhibition of works by Component. We have one here, check it below, please excuse the hyperactive staff/component fan in the foreground.
Component is a well-known and respected self taught street artist, DJ and radio station manager (to name a few of his skills). A Grey Lynn resident since ages ago and showing you all how its done.
So now you know… go score an original.
Get growing and re-using
Get growing this summer, its easier than 1, 2… 3 kg’s of parsley in an Ooid Bag. Find tips and join the conversation at local food enthusiasts.
Andy B and his remixed showreel
Last week we told you about the 9D exhibition. This is a mixed video from Andy Bamford who was one of the students exhibiting. Wish I could do this.

Skate Cards from Germany
European markets are a great place to find goodies like this pack of skate cards. A Friend discovered these in Germany. Bring back game cards… especially pre-2000 skateboarding ones, and mustard yellow t-shirts.
We look forward to trying some of these moves this summer… after a few beers of course!
