Commandshift3…vote for your favourite.
Commandshift3 is a website where you vote for your favourite website based on design only. Two sites appear on your screen as snapshots, you simply click on the one you like the most, two more are shown, you vote again, and it goes on forever. They call it a battle.
Whether you need some inspiration for your next site, or just want to see the best and worst as voted by visitors, or just pass 5 minutes. We submitted endemicworld.com about 4 months ago. There were about 5000 sites back then. Now there are over 13000.
So to brag just a little, we think our site rules, and so do the users on commmandshift3. They even think its #5 in New Zealand. So check it out, if our site goes into battle with another….you know who to vote for.
endemicworld.com was designed by Studio Alexander. They rule, thanks SA.

Creative Statistics Presentation by Chris Jordon
I don’t really know what to say after watching this. The statistics are quite disturbing, the message is very compelling… but I posted it because of the creative way in which Chris Jordon has presented the statistics.
TED is amazing, sign up to the pod casts and you will never watch TV again…

Future of Dr Martin shoes in your hands
Big companies are jumping on “ART” as the new cool by inviting design submissions. Nike did it, Vans are doing it and so are Dr Martins. So get out your pens and pencils (or photoshop on your mac of course) and start designing. Would be cool if someone from New Zealand won. Its Aussies vs Kiwi’s on this one.
Check out our “Kiwi Boot” below.

This was spotted by Kate on a trip to Lyttelton, Christchurch. If this monster cardboard robot is yours….nice work and keep it up. Hopefully this inspires you all to look at and use cardboard differently.

Sticker Car
Photographed by Bob Nelson in the streets of Italy recently. An old art form with a new canvas. Now known as auto-decoupage. Without the varnish and the bad scissor finish. What would Man Ray have done with a Hummer?

Creative Trophy
Spotted recently in Mangarakau, at the southern end of the Whanganui Inlet. A Trophy worth winning. The thought of having this on top of my fridge would focus my mind on winning at Pool, Darts, Bowls and Table Tennis.
